From the South (Portsmouth): Follow the A3 until it becomes single carriageway and continue to the traffic lights at Hindhead. Turn left (North) onto the A287. After about 4 miles you will pass through the village Churt. Continue for a further mile and a half; turn left at a sign to the Frensham Pond Hotel. This is Pond Lane and the Hotel is 300 yds along this road on the left From the North or East: Take the A3 to Guildford and then the A31 or the A331 from Junction 4 of the M3 and then the A31 Westbound. Follow the A31 Farnham Bypass until you reach traffic lights. Turn left here (signposted Hindhead and A287). Pass some shops and bear right over the level crossing. Follow signs for Hindhead. These signs will direct you to a right hand turn and then a left hand turn until you are on the A287 proper. Frensham Pond is a further 3 miles on the right. Drive past Mariners Hotel, turn right marked Frensham Pond Hotel. The Hotel is half a mile along this road on the left. From London: On summer weekend mornings there can be long delays both at the traffic lights at Farnham and at Hindhead. For an alternative route take the A3 beyond Guildford and turn right at sign for Thursley (across oncoming traffic). Follow the road through Thursley and turn left at the T junction Follow this winding road for a couple of miles until you reach a cross roads. Go straight across and continue along another winding road until you reach a T junction. (This is the A287 from Hindhead)turn right. The turning for the Hotel is a further half a mile on the left.
