Continue on the A12 for 33.5 miles. Exit the A12 at Junction 25 (Marks Tey) & take the first exit on the round about sign posted the A120 to Stansted Airport & Bishops Stortford. Continue for 4.1 miles and then turn right onto the B1024 sign posted to Earls Colne. After 3.4 miles turn left at the mini roundabout. The de Vere Arms is located half a mile up the road on the right hand side. From the M25 &/or the M11 & Stansted Airport: From the M25, exit at Junction 27 onto the M11 north towards Cambridge. After 14.6 miles exit the M11 at Junction 8a onto the A120 signposted to Colchester. Follow the signs to Colchester staying on the A120 for 23.4 miles. Turn left onto the B1024 signposted to Earls Colne. After 3.4 miles turn left at the mini round about. The de Vere Arms is located half a mile up the road on the right hand side. By Train: Trains can be taken from London, Liverpool Street to Clacton. The stop on this line that you will require is Marks Tey. From Marks Tey it is approximately 8 miles to the hotel. You can either take a taxi from the station to the hotel or switch trains & go to Chapel train station, which is approximately a mile from Earls Colne. We would be more than happy to book the taxi from either station or alternatively please feel free to call the hotel for a list of recommended taxi companies.
